ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,661,363, issued on June 23, was assigned to BioAxone BioSciences Inc. (Boston).

"Treatment of cerebral cavernous malformations and cerebral aneurysms with Rho kinase inhibitors" was invented by Kenneth M. Rosen (Milton, Mass.), Steven Wayne Riesinger (Boston), Lisa McKerracher (Boston) and Lisa Bond Moritz (Burtonsville, Md.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided are methods of treating a cerebral cavernous malformation (CCM) and methods of treating cerebral aneurysm in a mammal with certain rho kinase inhibitors."

The patent was filed on Feb. 20, 2024, under Application No. 18/581,880.
