ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,601,029, issued on April 14, was assigned to Binding Solutions Ltd (Middlesbrough, Great Britain).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A pellet comprising C-grade iron fines and a binder; a method of producing said pellet, comprising mixing the C-grade iron fines and the binder to form a mixture and agglomerating the mixture to form a pellet; and a method of producing steel, comprising heating a pellet comprising C-grade iron fines and a binder in an electric arc furnace."
