ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 31 -- United States Patent no. PP37,347, issued on March 31, was assigned to Berrytech SRL (Italy).
"Fragaria plant named 'BTSB one'" was invented by Diego Ioriatti (Baselga di Pine, Italy).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct cultivar of Fragaria plant named 'BTSB One' is disclosed, characterized by conical, uniformly sized fruits. Plants are semi-erect, including the lateral branches. Fruit has a clear light red color which is maintained during post-harvest. The new cultivar is a Fragaria, intended for commercial fruit production."
The patent was filed on July 14, 2025, under Application No. 19/267,833.
