US Patent Issued to Berry Global on Sept. 8 for "Laminate container" (Indiana, Wisconsin Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,729,032, issued on Sept. 8, was assigned to Berry Global Inc. (Evansville, Ind.).

"Laminate container" was invented by Jonathan Eickhoff (Evansville, Ind.), Jared Bruce Waterman (Evansville, Ind.), Jeffrey A. Mann (Evansville, Ind.), Ryan Dewig (Haubstadt, Ind.) and Bryan Gillespie (Altoona, Wis.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A container and a method of producing the container are disclosed, wherein the container is formed of a laminate having a base layer and a sheet."

The patent was filed on Feb. 8, 2021, under Application No. 17/170,425.
