US Patent Issued to Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software on July 28 for "DRX packet wake-up method and apparatus, communication device, and storage medium" (Chinese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,696,344, issued on July 28, was assigned to Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd. (Beijing).

"DRX packet wake-up method and apparatus, communication device, and storage medium" was invented by Yanhua Li (Beijing) and Xiaowei Jiang (Beijing).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A DRX packet wake-up method includes: sending a wake-up notification to a first DRX packet in a wake-up state in a UE, said wake-up notification being at least used for early wake-up a second DRX packet in a sleep state in said UE."
