ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,599,257, issued on April 14, was assigned to Bedgear LLC (Farmingdale, N.Y.).

"Pillow with gusset and open cell construction" was invented by Eugene Alletto Jr. (Glen Head, N.Y.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A pillow is provided herein which includes a cover having opposing first and second panels.
