ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 2 -- United States Patent no. D1,128,736, issued on June 2, was assigned to Baxter International Inc. (Deerfield, Ill.) and Baxter Healthcare SA (Glattpark, Switzerland).

"Single-stage infusion pump hub" was invented by Erik Michael Thomas (Gurnee, Ill.), Jiri Slaby (Buffalo Grove, Ill.), Peter M.
