ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. PP37,467, issued on June 9, was assigned to Ball Horticultural Co. (West Chicago, Ill.).
"Calibrachoa plant named 'Balcabritor'" was invented by Laura Masor (Buda, Texas).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct cultivar of Calibrachoa plant named 'Balcabritor', characterized by its orange-colored flowers having a red overlay and venation, medium, green-colored foliage, and moderately vigorous, mounded growth habit, is disclosed."
The patent was filed on Oct. 4, 2025, under Application No. 19/349,980.
