ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 21 -- United States Patent no. PP37,381, issued on April 21, was assigned to Ball Horticultural Co. (West Chicago, Ill.).

"Brunnera plant named 'Balfrosmic'" was invented by Christa Kievit (Vessem, Netherlands).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct cultivar of Brunnera plant named 'Balfrosmic', characterized by its medium blue-colored flowers with a small white "eye", silvery-colored foliage with light green venation and yellow green colored margins, vigorous, semi-upright growth habit, is disclosed."

The patent was filed on Sept. 9, 2025, under Application No. 19/323,068.
