ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,746,488, issued on Sept. 29, was assigned to Baker Hughes Oilfield Operations LLC (Houston).

"Downhole filter" was invented by Zhi Yong He (Cypress, Texas) and Vighnesh Sivan (Rosharon, Texas).
