ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,646,975, issued on June 2, was assigned to Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.).
"Power transfer accounting for wireless power transfer" was invented by Shubha Ramakrishnan (San Jose, Calif.), Adam L Schwartz (Redwood City, Calif.), Brandon R Garbus (San Diego), Herve Grabas (Mountain View, Calif.) and Srinivasa V Thirumalai Ananthan Pillai (Santa Clara, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Transmitters and/or receivers in a wireless power transfer system predict power losses to account for presence of foreign objects."
