ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,659,129, issued on June 16, was assigned to Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method is provided for a device participating in a data aggregation service. The device receives, from at least one requesting server, a participant homomorphic encryption key, and a request for data to perform a computation.
