ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,607,861, issued on April 21, was assigned to Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.).
"Face engaging structure" was invented by Darshan R. Kasar (San Francisco), Samuel G. Smith (San Francisco), Paul X. Wang (Cupertino, Calif.), Liam R. Martinez (San Francisco) and Jonathan M. Anderson (San Francisco).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An apparatus includes a display, a facial interface, and a connector between the display and the facial feature. The connector can include a stop."
The patent was filed on July 7, 2023, under Application No. 18/348,561.
