ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,673,161, issued on July 7, was assigned to ApiJect (Stamford, Conn.).

"BFS injection and connection assemblies" was invented by Jeff Price (Windermere, Fla.) and Eric Dwyer Gibney (West Chester, Pa.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A pre-filled medical delivery system assembled and configured to allow delivery of a single dose of a therapeutic agent (e.g., vaccine, drug, medicament, etc.) from a Blow-Fill-Seal (BFS) bottle to a patient utilizing one or more BFS injection or connection assemblies."

The patent was filed on Nov. 14, 2022, under Application No. 18/055,103.
