According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "New and unique brown varieties of the mushroom Agaricus bisporus Imbach were produced by crossing the progeny of brown mushrooms and off-white hybrid mushrooms to bridging cross strains. The resultant hybrids, named 'RO10425', 'RO14176', and 'RO12756', exhibit distinct and stable characteristics.
