US Patent Issued to AMTEK RESEARCH INTERNATIONAL on Sept. 8 for "Fragrance-containing crosslinked gels" (Oregon Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,728,179, issued on Sept. 8, was assigned to AMTEK RESEARCH INTERNATIONAL LLC (Lebanon, Ore.).

"Fragrance-containing crosslinked gels" was invented by Daniel Wandera (Corvallis, Ore.), Richard W. Pekala (Corvallis, Ore.) and Wyatt Self (Albany, Ore.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Spill-resistant gels with fragrance immobilized within a covalently cross-linked matrix and composites containing the spill-resistant gels are disclosed herein. The covalently cross-linked gel provides low diffusive resistance, but high spill resistance."

The patent was filed on June 29, 2021, under Application No. 18/002,843.
