US Patent Issued to Amazon Technologies on June 30 for "Locality sensitive hashing using bitmap index" (California, Washington, New York Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,670,141, issued on June 30, was assigned to Amazon Technologies Inc. (Seattle).

"Locality sensitive hashing using bitmap index" was invented by Nitya Dhimantkumar Sheth (Belmont, Calif.), Kyle Wong (San Francisco), John Espenhahn (San Francisco), Ali Koc (Smithtown, N.Y.), Rajat Mathur (Sunnyvale, Calif.), Amit Gul Phagwani (Fremont, Calif.) and George Steven McPherson (Seattle).
