ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,553,088, issued on Feb. 17, was assigned to Amazon Technologies Inc. (Reno, Nev.).
"High-throughput deep sequencing of nucleic acids across tumors and clones within tumors" was invented by David Heckerman (Bellevue, Wash.), Michael Vogelsong (Seattle) and Frank Wilhelm Schmitz (Seattle).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein are methods for profiling a cancerous tumor using a high-throughput sequencing technique."
