ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,734,397, issued on Sept. 15, was assigned to ALPINE RUN LLC (New York).
"Outdoor exercise equipment" was invented by Zoltan Bujna (Komarno, Slovak Republic), Xavier Giard (Pully, Switzerland) and Milan Cepregi (Komarno, Slovak Republic).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An outdoor exercise machine is disclosed having an articulation with an axle and a crankset, the axle having bushings made with an ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) treated with molybdenum disulfide (MoS2)."
The patent was filed on Nov. 18, 2022, under Application No. 18/711,403.
