ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,748,128, issued on Sept. 29, was assigned to Alentic Microscience Inc. (Halifax, Canada).
"Microscopy imaging" was invented by Alan Marc Fine (Prospect, Canada).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Among other things, an imaging device has a photosensitive array of pixels, and a surface associated with the array is configured to receive a specimen with at least a part of the specimen at a distance from the surface equivalent to less than about half of an average width of the pixels."
The patent was filed on May 16, 2024, under Application No. 18/666,013.
