ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,560,487, issued on Feb. 24, was assigned to AGC GLASS EUROPE (Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium).

"Glazing thermal sensor" was invented by Xavier Laloyaux (Gosselies, Belgium), Jean Masson (Gosselies, Belgium) and Yannick Sartenaer (Vedrin, Belgium).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A glazing includes a temperature sensing device for measuring the temperature of the glazing. The temperature sensing device is fixed to the glazing through a thermally conductive double-sided tape."

The patent was filed on Aug. 19, 2021, under Application No. 18/041,416.
