ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,602,162, issued on April 14, was assigned to Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (Santa Clara, Calif.).
"Memory training enhancements" was invented by Aaron D Willey (Hayward, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A data processing system includes a data processor having a memory controller, and a memory. The memory is coupled to the memory controller and is for reading and writing data synchronously with respect to a clock signal. The memory includes a sensor circuit that is responsive to a control signal to output a measured value without using the clock signal."
