"Coating and curing a protective layer on large format printed graphics" was invented by Glenn Tomkins (Windsor, Wis.), Hayes Holzhauer (Scottsdale, Ariz.) and Brian Buisker (Fitchburg, Wis.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A device and method for coating and curing a protective layer on large format graphics comprises a roll-to-roll machine having a coat stage and a cure stage.
