US Patent Issued to ACTINIUM PHARMACEUTICALS on June 30 for "Calreticulin nanobodies" (Belgian, American Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,668,622, issued on June 30, was assigned to ACTINIUM PHARMACEUTICALS INC. (New York).

"Calreticulin nanobodies" was invented by Gholamreza Hassanzadeh Ghassabeh (Sint-Genesius-Rode, Belgium), Steve Schoonooghe (Holsbeek, Belgium) and Helen Kotanides (Norwalk, Conn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided are nanobodies that bind human calreticulin, fusion proteins including the nanobodies, pharmaceutical compositions including the nanobodies or fusion proteins, and radioconjugates of the nanobodies or fusion proteins."

The patent was filed on May 24, 2023, under Application No. 18/323,276.
