ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,738,255, issued on Sept. 15.

"Three-way selector switch" was invented by David Polinski (Stuart, Fla.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A 3-way selector switch suitable for a two-pickup guitar. The switch provides a replaceable toggle lever wherein a selection of toggle levers can be used to provide color and tactile touch identification. The switch further provides an electrical contact with reciprocal shapes to provide premium coupling to eliminate signal loss."

The patent was filed on Nov. 22, 2022, under Application No. 18/057,798.
