According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A crystalline form of 2-(3,5-dichlorophenyl)-1,3-benzoxazole-6-carboxylic acid and a method for its preparation are described. The crystalline form is further suitable as intermediate compound to prepare Form 1, Form 4 and Form M with improved stability and purity."
