"Intravenous physiological solution to optimize fluid therapy in patients" was invented by Adnan I. Qureshi (Columbia, Mo.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An intravenous fluid composition includes sodium chloride and sodium acetate that can provide appropriate sodium load and osmolality, with chloride concentration and pH mimicking normal values in human blood."
The patent was filed on June 5, 2024, under Application No. 18/734,760.
