US Patent Issued on Oct. 6 for "Barbecue structure" (California Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,751,577, issued on Oct. 6.

"Barbecue structure" was invented by Douglas P. Wurlitzer (Chico, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A ground supported barbecue apparatus utilizing a stand having a frame that supports a tray with a grill. The tray and grill are vertically positioned by a height adjuster to ensure cooking of foodstuffs at a proper temperature and above an ignited fuel source below the frame. The components of the barbecue apparatus are easily disassembled for storage."

The patent was filed on Aug. 29, 2023, under Application No. 18/239,628.
