"Roof vent cover" was invented by Pierre Beauvais (Victoria, Canada).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A roof vent top cover that is configured to be removably attached on an existing roof vent base plate system of a building wherein the roof vent top cover is transparent or translucent and inhibit the building of wasps nests and the like through creation of an undesirable environment."
The patent was filed on Dec. 14, 2023, under Application No. 18/539,652.
