"Foldable personal scale" was invented by Gaganbir Sahni (Cumming, Ga.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A personal foldable scale includes two weight-bearing platforms secured together by double-hinge members to allow the foldable scale to fold such that the two weight-bearing platforms face each other in a folded configuration. The foldable scale includes a display for digitally representing weight, time, and temperature measurements."
The patent was filed on Dec. 21, 2023, under Application No. 18/392,564.
