According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A reconfigurable backpack frame is proposed that may be easily converted into a folding chair when desired. The frame includes a first support member that converts between functioning as a vertical support element (when used as a backpack frame) and a weight-bearing seat (when used as a folding chair).
