ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,627,132, issued on May 12.

"Protective utility wildlife guard" was invented by Sean Dunham (Lake Elmo, Minn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A protective cover for a multi-connector power distribution device, the protective cover comprising: at least two substantially concave coverage lobes, each of the coverage lobes corresponding to a connector on the multi-connector power distribution device."

The patent was filed on June 5, 2023, under Application No. 18/205,811.
