ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 12 -- United States Patent no. PP37,427, issued on May 12.

"Lavandula plant named 'ARKEZIE'" was invented by Richard Clark (Dereham, Great Britain).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new cultivar of Lavandula plant named 'ARKEZIE' that is characterized by its 5 compact and dwarf plant habit, its flower colors that change from white to blue-purple-pink, and its cold hardiness to 5deg fahrenheit."

The patent was filed on Sept. 29, 2025, under Application No. 19/344,456.
