According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A lamp fixture comprises a housing having a portion which comprises a non-conductive material. A receiver for receiving signals from a remote source is located within the housing. A receiving antenna is connected to the receiver and extends through the housing such that a least a portion of the antenna is accommodated within the portion of the housing comprised of the non-conductive material."
