According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A brace system for supporting a user's arms and thighs during resistance exercises includes an arm restraint which is worn on the user's shoulders and which comprises a crossbar and a pair of arm supports. When the arm restraint is worn, the crossbar extends over the user's chest and the arm supports extend over the user's biceps, restraining the user's arms from moving forwardly with respect to the chest past the chest.
