According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Method for manufacturing at least one orthodontic appliance to be worn by a patient, for carrying out a complex orthodontic treatment from an initial point in time to a final point in time. The treatment includes at least a first basic orthodontic treatment designed to change the morphology of the patient's head and at least a second basic orthodontic treatment, which is subsequent to the first basic treatment and is designed to modify the configuration of the teeth.
