"Toe walking prevention device" was invented by Jessica Tillman (Owens Cross Roads, Ala.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A toe walking prevention device relates to an insert that is solid and includes an incline on the dorsal portion of the insert that rises from the proximal portion to the distal portion. The insert is configured to be used to prevent or treat toe walking by making it uncomfortable for a person to walk on his or her toes."
The patent was filed on July 25, 2024, under Application No. 18/784,743.
