ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,667,723, issued on June 30.
"Systems and methods for treating autism spectrum disorder, developmental disorders and other medical conditions" was invented by Patrick M. Nemechek (Buckeye, Ariz.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided herein are methods for treating autism; and systems and devices for administering transcutaneous auricular vagal nerve stimulation (taVNS)."
The patent was filed on April 7, 2023, under Application No. 18/132,301.
