According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A roofing material removal apparatus is an apparatus to aid in the removal of existing roof shingles and tar paper. The device utilizes a removal frame, made of aluminum pipe, that is positioned on one side of a roof that is to be torn off.
