According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A post and railing mount is disclosed. The post and railing mount includes a mounting bracket having a plurality of vertical corner supports and a railing plate and a newel corner post having a plurality of corners, each of the vertical corner supports are secured to each of the corners.
