According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A magazine-style wrench that laterally feeds multiple nuts down a magazine-style rail into a hexagonal head for dispensing and tightening. As a bolt is inserted into the hexagonal opening the threads of the bolt mesh into those of the nuts. The compressional force provided by a rectangular spring provides the necessary force to push the row of nuts forward and prevent the nut held in the opening from unintentionally falling out of the tool.
