According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An eye shield device for covering, protecting, or obscuring an eye of a wearer of the eye shield device. The eye shield device may be worn in multiple configurations including a headband over the ear versions. The eye shield device includes a cantilevered arm structure to project forward the mounting arm or portion for an eye shield.
