"Carriers for collecting biological samples" was invented by Sheridan O'Neal (Lockhart, Texas).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A carrier can comprise a case that defines an interior volume, a supply tray that defines a plurality of supply compartments, and a sample tray that defines one or more sample compartments and comprises a thermally-insulative material. The supply tray and the sample tray and each be removably coupled to the case in the interior volume."

The patent was filed on Jan. 4, 2023, under Application No. 18/149,963.
