According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A surge protector that can be mounted in a standard electrical enclosure-such as a double gang enclosure. The surge protector includes one or more removable surge protection modules. The surge protection modules are accessible through the front of the surge protector. The removable module can be removed and replaced without dismounting the surge protector."
