According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A holding device for cards and/or bank notes includes a housing for accommodating the cards and/or bank notes, wherein the housing thereof can be extended as easily as possible using exchangeable parts, wherein cards accommodated in the housing are held as gently and safely as possible. The housing includes a sliding element which extends over a corner region of the housing, and/or is part of a sliding element structure which extends over a corner region of the housing."
