ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,673,250, issued on July 7.
"Snag-free eyelet anchor" was invented by William Coleman Lay (St. George, Utah).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A snag-free eyelet anchor has an elongate, low-profile arc shape that provides reduction or elimination of snagging situations with netting and other snag-prone materials used with various frameworks such as recreational equipment, and more specifically, collapsible sports enclosures, including batting cages."
The patent was filed on Dec. 20, 2022, under Application No. 18/085,223.
