ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,674,358, issued on July 7.

"One piece climbing stick design" was invented by Andrae D'Acquisto (Bellevue, Iowa).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention generally relates to a one-piece climbing sticks for use in climbing trees for hunting or other purposes. The climbing sticks of the invention are characterized by a double step, one-piece design wherein the center support structure and the double steps emanating therefrom are fabricated from a single sheet or piece of aluminum and/or aluminum alloy."

The patent was filed on Dec. 19, 2020, under Application No. 16/974,301.
