ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,676,129, issued on July 7.
"Locking string tuner" was invented by William B. Cardozo (Sun Valley, Idaho).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A locking string tuner that is comprised of a string post and an engagement member that is moveably associated with the string post. The engagement member has an engagement side that includes a grip surface and a relief surface, and has a reeling side."
The patent was filed on Feb. 1, 2023, under Application No. 18/104,649.
