According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A thumb wrestling game board is disclosed, instituting pin-or-pop technology and rules that prevents participants from aggressively pulling and jerking their opponents. A stem at the center of a reaction device is designed for players to grasp while they compete. If a player accidentally pulls their wrist lanyard and it dislodges an attached pin, an elastic band with a ring activates the reaction device.
