According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A tabletop shooting game, comprising: a projectile, a target and a shooter, the shooter including a stand defining a resting surface for receiving the projectile thereonto, an impactor and a biasing element for biasing the impactor towards the resting surface. The shooter is operable for shooting the projectile towards the target by moving the impactor to a loading position away from the resting surface with the projectile resting on the resting surface and subsequently releasing the impactor."
